On his first bilateral visit outside the subcontinent as the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi
said we will ‘write a new chapter’ in the bilateral relations and
cooperation in the fields of defence, civil nuclear and infrastructure.
The prime minister wooed business leaders, promising a better investment
environment.
Modi, on Monday, announced to set up a special team to facilitate
Japanese investments in India. He addressed the business leaders in
Japan, seeking sought help from Japan in skill development and even in
research.
