New Delhi: With most of the exit polls predicting a hung Delhi assembly with no party among Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and recently formed Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) emerging as clear winner, behind-the-scenes negotiations have already begun with saffron party making an initiation.A day after BJP’s Delhi unit president Vijay Goel expressed willingness on his party’s part to enter into a post-poll alliance with AAP, two candidates from Kejriwal’s outfit have claimed of having being approached by senior BJP leaders.
“BJP leaders are trying to lure me within their fold. I have told them that I am not interested in joining their party,” AAP’s candidate from Narela assembly seat Baljit Singh Mann told Bhaskar.Read more
