Not just Bharat Ratna but Sachin Tendulkar's commemorative stamps were also rushed through

Chennai: In an RTI filed by activist Subhash Aggarwal, it was revealed that the commemorative stamp on Sachin Tendulkar that was issued on November 14, 2013 was rushed through bypassing the postal rules.

                                 

  Subhash Aggarwal filed the RTI on December 24, 2013. The philately division had assigned Kamleshwar Singh, an empanelled artist of the department of posts to design the stamp.Read more
