The capital of the
country is a firm believer of the phrase 'early to bed and early to rise
makes the man healthy wealthy and wise. Known for its sober (read:
gloomy) nightlife, the city has been a dampener for many party avid who
like to revel late into the night.
Taking a stern view of the ordeal of the residents of this city,
the New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) is planning to extend the
'open hours' to 1am and beyond.
Shoppers will also benefit from the expected dictum. Shops in New
Delhi area, comprising of posh markets like, Khan Market and Connaught
Place, will not have to put down their shutters till 11 pm. In CP, the
shops will be able to remain open till 11:30 pm.
