Troubles seem to be increasing manifold for Aam Aadmi Party Varanasi candidate Arvind Kejriwal as Quami Ekta Dal leader and jailed don Mukhtar Ansari's elder brother Afzal Ansari has extended his support to Narendra Modi, saying the Muslims would remain safe under the BJP prime ministerial candidate in the country, a media report said.
As per a report published in Mail Today, while talking to the
mediapersons at the Babatpur airport here on Saturday, Afzal said, "The
country needs Modi. The Muslims will be safe when he becomes the Prime
Minister. This is the reason that the Muslims of Varanasi are toying
with the idea to vote for him."
