Rahul Gandhi Halts His Speech After Hearing A Prayer Call From Mosque

election 2014

With the portrait of Lord Ram providing the backdrop, Narendra Modi on Monday asked people "living" in the birthplace of the Hindu deity to teach Congress and those who support it a lesson for not fulfilling electoral promises. He referred to Lord Ram several times in his speech but refrained from talking about building the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

While the Congress’ Vice President, Rahul Gandhi halted his speech for five minutes on hearing a call for prayer at a mosque on Monday, even as anxious party colleagues looked on fearing that Gandhi might run out of time on the last day of campaigning in the constituency.
