SANKARARAMAN MURDER: The court acquits all the accused in the murder mystery

After 9 long years of wait, a puducherry court announced the verdict in the 2004's Sankararaman murder case today. The two seers of Kanchi Jayendra Saraswati (78) and Vijayendra (44) are the prime accussed in the case. Proper security arrangements were made to avoid any hassle. C S Murugan is the appointed judge in this case. It went through several twists and turns in a time period of 9 years. The motive of the murder was not clearly established.

Jayendra Saraswathi is acquitted in the murder of temple manager A Sankararaman in 2004. Total 24 people were accused in the murder case. One of the accused had died earlier this year. It is reported that none of the witnesses identified Jayendra saraswati, who is the prime accused in the case. The wife and son were also among the witnesses. Where 20 accused failed to support the prosecution, others turned hostile. It is said that a few of them confessed it under duress.Read more at-http://daily.bhaskar.com/
