After deciding to name a
roundabout after freedom fighter Bhagat Singh last year, the warring
neighbours India and Pakistan once again have shown some harmony amidst
disputes and disagreements.
In recent development, Pakistan’s efforts were seen to preserve
Bhagat Singh’s birth place at Chak No. 105 GB in Bangay Village as a
heritage site.
In the weekly edition of The News International, The News published
the decision taken by the Faisalabad district administration.
According to The News, preserving Bhagat Singh’s village was a part
of the campaign which also included preserving the history and
renovating 45 historical buildings in the area.
