67 Kashmiri students
who were suspended for cheering for Pakistan during an India-Pak Asia
Cup match, heaved a sigh of relief on Monday. The suspension order by
Meerut-based Swami Vivekananda University has been revoked.
Sources said that the decision has been taken after J&K and UP government worked out compromise formula.
Earlier, the students also faced a sedition case against them which was withdrawn on March 6 after the Centre intervened.
