The residents of Campa Cola society didn’t allow the BMC
authorities to enter the compound on Friday due to which they were
forced to return without complying to the orders of Supreme Court.
BMC had been following the orders from the Apex Court and the entire process had to be filmed to be secured as evidence. The strong bond of people restricted the officials from entering the compound.
The officials of BMC had arrived at scene to begin the process of
evicting residents from the illegal flats. The residents kept the
opening door shut for the whole time and prayed to be spared by the
officials.
