India TV news anchor attempted to commit suicide on Sunday by
consuming poison at the channel’s office in Sector 85, Noida. The anchor
was immediately rushed to Kailash hospital and admitted in an ICU, her
condition is now said to be stable.
Sources in the channel said the 31-yr-old woman had posted a suicide note on a social networking website. In a news report carried by Millennium Post a snap shot of the anchor’s Facebook page appears, (We don’t vouch for the veracity of the anchor’s Facebook page snapshot) in which she reportedly blamed her seniors for pushing her to take the radical step. She had named senior channel officials of betrayal and hatching a conspiracy against her.
